I am in the midst of developing on an AFE4400. However, as I was attempting to create my wiring diagram and ultimately the connections for a PCB, I came across a discrepancy. Pin #9, labeled as "TX_REF", has some issues. According to the data sheet for the AFE4400, it is a reference voltage, and it doesn't explain how to connect it - either as a reference to my supply voltage or my ground. However, on the wiring diagram in slau480a (AFE4400 Evaluation Kit), it has this pin connected to a 2.2 uF capacitor and then to ground.
Every other pin that's connected via capacitor to ground is declared as such in the AFE4400 data sheet. Why is this pin not declared as such? Is this a discrepancy in the AFE4400 data sheet, or a discrepancy on the Evaluation Kit data sheet?
Additionally, is there a unified wiring diagram for PCB layout for the AFE4400? I am attempting to use a MSP430 to start, but I don't know if that will be the final chip that I use. Any help regarding wiring would be much appreciated!
Thank you.
