ADS1299 Bias electrode impedance

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1299

Hi all,

are there any chance to measure impedance of the bias electrode by using ADS1299. In PDF about ADS1299 they say that there is a way to detect lead-off during normal operation. I cant see how can I configure ADS1299 for lead-off detection of the bias electrode during normal operation. Also they show current source on bias electrode (ILGND_OFF[1:0). Where can I find this register? Also if I turn off bias amplifier for online lead-off detection, wher is current path closed? On the capacitive coupling through patient or somewere else?

Regards,

Vojin

  • Vojin,

Were you able to figure out  how to measure the impedance of the bias electrode?  I have the same question about the current path when the bias amp is turned off and bias sense current source is on.  What is the current path?

    Best regards,
