ADS1298ECGFE-PDK Download

Hi Folks,

I am trying to download the software for ADS1298ECG-PDK from

ftp://ftp.ti.com/pub/data_acquisition/ECG_FE/ADS1298/ads129xecg-fe-setup-1.1.1.exe

and I can't download it.

(this is the site for downloading: http://www.ti.com/tool/ads1298ecgfe-pdk)

I downloaded it around 3 days ago and reinstalled windows on my computer and can't download ads129xecg-fe-setup-1.1.1.exe anymore

The link doesn't work. It seems no exe file from TI FTP works since I can download the zip files from

ftp://ftp.ti.com/pub/data_acquisition/ECG_FE/ADS1298/

I would really appreciate if someone can share this software or resolve this issue

    I can't still download the software, could someone be possibly send a link to download the software ?

    Farzad -

    Please use the link on the website that you noted.  We have verified it is correct and should be working.

    If you reinstalled software, make sure that some security settings/firewall setting wasn't changed/reset that you need to get to the site.

    Hello,

    I have asked multiple of my friends to also download it and still we can't (we are based in Canada)

    I have tried multiple operating systems, browsers, multiple networks and still we can't download the software (exe).

    I really appreciate your help but we still are unable to download the software

    I don't know if there are any tricks to the direct ftp download using the FTP program.

    Regarding the internet option, are you directly entering the link or clicking on the link from the ADS1298ECGFE-PDK product page?  If you are, we may have to try and get IT involved since there doesn't appear to be an issue with downloading the file that we have seen and it does exist.  Nothing should have change with regards to this file for quite some time.

    I seem to have the same problem. I wrote to the technical support and they replied that it has been resolved.

    Unfortunatelly still isn't.

    Hi again,

    There seems to be a temporary workaround - not that it should normally function this way:

    1. Use FTP client, supporting raw ftp command, like CuteFTP

    2. Create a text file in the folder you want to download the file. Open the text file with notepad and enter a single character, like "M". Just a single character would suffice, without any spaces or new lines after it. Save the file. Make sure you see the extension ".txt" in the Windows Explorer, otherwise you might need to do the next step in command window.

    3. Rename the text file to become ads129xecg-fe-setup-1.1.1.exe .

    4. Open the FTP client. In the left pane open the folder you created the above file. In the right pane, open ftp.ti.com and follow the path as in the link to reach the ads129xecg-fe-setup-1.1.1.exe file. Do not click or drag the file yet.

    5. Open the raw command box and enter the command "REST 1".

    6. Drag the file from the right pane to the left, as you would to normally transfer the file. Answer yes, when the FTP client asks you if you want to replace an existing file.

    7. The transfer should run normally, without the "Broken pipe" error.

    8. After it is finished an you check that the file size of the file on you disk is abt. 160 MB - it means that the transfer is successful.

    9. Check/correct the first 1 to 6 bytes of the ads129xecg-fe-setup-1.1.1.exe file and make sure they are the same as the first bytes of any other exe file (it is a standard MZ header). You can do this with any HexEditor.

    Now your file is ready to use.

    I believe the problem with the FTP server occurs if you start transferring the file from the beginning (as you normally should). However if you start from any other position (say in this case from the second byte), you can download the entire file without any issues. The REST command helps in this case. Strange problem.

    Hope this solution, despite being time-consuming, helps - it sure did to me.

    I regret to inform you that the download link does not work yet, and I really need to make some tests with the EVM.

    Until when will have the software for Win7? And should in have been updated, being a kit of great importance and utility.

    Under the software label, there is a link:

    It tells me the website is not available.

    Free Evaluation Tool ADS1298ECGFE-PDK Version 1.1.1 Installation is still not accessible from the website link. The FTP is also unavailable. A connection with the server could not be established

    Mr Joseph -

    We have seen similar issues when the security settings on the download side is set high or due to firewall settings.  You might want to check that you have permission/settings to do this.

    In addition, we will need to look into this on our end.  If the above suggestions do not work, can you please capture an image or describe in detail the message that you receiving when you try and download?

    Are you using the link on the product page for ADS1398ECGFE-PDK? This may be the same link, however please do not link directly to the ftp link since this can change and you will not link to the correct file(s).

    There should be a link under 'Free Evaluation Tool Description' that will always point to the correct location. If you are not being able to download the link correctly, ensure that your firewall settings are allowing you to download the files. If you still have problems, please let us know the time and location(in the world) that you attempted the download. We can send this information to the IT department so they can locate your attempt in the logs to determine a corrective action.

    I realy don't  know  what  the  problem  is  but I am  sure  that  this  link has a problem  because  the page dosn't  open and  this error appears  : no data received  from the servet

    Actually the link that you wrote , is opened but the link that is just above "order now " dosn't work !
