We're designing the Sony ICX692ALA (720p CCD) into several of our camera designs, and I'm looking for an appropriate CCD Analog Front End / Timing Generator to interface with this sensor.

I've seen the VSP8133 and it looks like it will work, but I'm interested in any reference designs or application notes you may have for this product.

I only see the datasheet online.

If you have any reference designs for similar devices that I may refer to (instead of the VSP8133 specifically), that would be helpful too.

The video decoders are designed to digitize NTSC/PAL/SECAM, analog CEA and VGA video.

For CCD front ends you are best to re-post in the data converters forum.

Thanks, Steve. Just to be clear, I started from the Data Converters forum, but (I thought) I was forced to choose a sub-category before I could enter a new post, which is why I ended up in Data Converters >> Video Converters. Are you saying I should move the post to the "/etc... Data Converters" sub-category?

To be honest I am not 100% sure which sub category to use since I don't know much about the CCD front ends.

All I know is that it is not a video converter :)
