ADS129x bypassing recommendations?

The datasheets for ADS1291 (and the rest of the series) are a bit inconsistent in regards to bypassing recommendations.  The texts says "Each ADS1291, ADS1292, and ADS1292R supply should be bypassed with 10-μF and a 0.1-μF solid ceramic capacitors." The schematic shows 1uF and 0.1uF.  The EVK also uses 1uF and 0.1uF.

Question 1: Which is correct?  Should the larger capacitor be 1uF or 10uF?

Question 2: What is the impedance this is trying to achieve?  Which frequency ranges are important?  Could you draw a curve of impedance vs frequency and say "any bypass that provides this impedance or lower would be okay"?

Question 3: Does it matter what size these are?  (0603, 0402, ...) What type? (X7R, etc)
