TSC2004 AUX and Temp conversions when display is touched

Can the TSC2004 be commanded to perform AUX input or Temperature conversions while the touch screen has pressure on the panel? The Table 6 on page 11 of SLAA359 seems to imply that while the pressure is present, no other A/D actions are possible.
