DAC3482IZAY ESD classification

Team,

Does the DAC3482IZAY have a specific HBM ESD classification?  If not, is it being tested to define one?

My customer has classified it as class 0.   Reference attached.

Thanks,

Aaron

  • Hi Aaron,

Please see below for the DAC348x family device ESD rating:

DAC3484IRKDT, DAC3482IRKDT, DAC3484IZAY and DAC3482IZAY devices passed below ESD ratings.

    • ESD-HBM: +/- 500V, 1000V, 1500V, 2000V, 2500V*, 3000V*, 4000V* (Passed up to 4KV)
    • ESD-MM: +/- 50V*, 100V*, 150V*, 200V* (Passed up to 200V)
    • ESD-CDM: +/- 250, 500V, 750V*, 1000V* (passed up to 1000V).

DAC34H84IZAY and DAC34SH84IZAY passed below ESD ratings.

    • ESD-HBM: +/- 500V, 1000V, 1500V, 2000V (Passed up to 2KV)
    • ESD-MM: +/- 50V*, 100V*, 150V*, 200V* (Passed up to 200V)
    • ESD-CDM: +/- 250, 500V, 750V*, 1000V* (passed up to 1000V).
It seems like the customer may quality the DAC3482IZAY as class 2 ESD for their internal qualification.
