temperature spec for ADS7945

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS7263, ADS7945

The part ADS7945SRTER is defined up to +125 degree in most on-line shops and in your own technical specification document. Nevertheless on your web-site it is specified only up to +85. Could you please explain the reason for this discrepancy? Is it still possible to assume that this part is qualified for extended industrial spec in a similar way as ADS7263 part?

  • Hello Victor,

The ADS7945 operating range Min/Max Specifications are specified on the datasheet from -40C to 125C.  The datasheet has the official information.  The website needs to be corrected.  Thank you for the feedback.

You may download the datasheet in the datasheet on:

  • Hello Luis,

I can't close this case as your web-site is not yet modified to correct this error. Also the same error is inserted in the very last page of the technical specification in which all available parts are marked to work only up to +85 degree. This contradicts to the first pages of the technical specification which clearly emphasize that this part is qualified up to +125 degree.

We would like to ask TI to fix this issue in all available documentation so that we indeed are able to use suggested part for +125 degree applications.

    Best regards

    Victor

Sorry, I probably need to be more specific - page 43 of the technical specification document refereed by you has the same mistake as your main web-site. This page has been introduced in April 2013 and is specifying all available parts as qualified only up to +85 degree.

You have to fix the technical specification document in order to modify the information on page 43 and also modify your web-site in order to align it with the update technical specification.

    Best regards

  • Hi Victor,

I have contacted the design group and confirmed the datasheet correct spec is -40C to +125C as listed on the electrical characteristic table.  Page 43 will be corrected and the web site will need to be corrected as well.  It will take 1-2 weeks before the updated document/web site is posted. Please contact me directly if waiting for this documentation update will be an issue.  You may click on my user name to access my profile and then click on the 'start conversation' button.

    Best Regards,
