Hi,
we have an issue here with several ADS7830 powered by a 5v supply (lab power supply) and implented as shown as in figure 13 (both caps - for the reference and for power supply are present. pull-ups also of course).
The devices seem to latch up from - then they da up to 350mA - instead of 1mA under normal condition. After the first latchup event the problem iis happening more often. After several latch ups the device is without function (no reference output - no valid conversion result).
Please get back to me asap with possible reasons for such a strange behaviour ...
