ADS7843 Pin 11, Capacitor dumping

I am getting noise on some displays I have that use the ADS7843. I’ve found that I can use the displays if I add a capacitor to filter the interrupt line (C55).  My question is, is this safe to do?  I’m concerned with the capacitor dumping it’s charge into pin 11 on the ADS7843.
