http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slac521

But, It is not working.

Plz help me.

  • Howdy Elsavador,

Are there any error prompts regarding the installation?  Can you walk me through your installation procedure, so I can see if I can pinpoint the problem.

    Best Regards,

    Matt

  • It isn't installed driver.

It is unkown device at device manager.

    plz help me.

  • It sounds like the driver wasn't correctly installed.  You can right click on the unknown device and 'uninstall'.

Before re-installing the software, make sure the EVM is plugged in to the USB-MODEVM platform.  Next, verify the USB cable from the USB-MODEVM (J7) is connected to the PC's USB port.

Once these connections are made, proceed with the software installation by clicking on the executable.

Please be aware that the software is currently only compatible with Windows XP, and will not work on Virtual Machines that include an XP installation.

Any snapshots or images of your installation will greatly help our debug efforts.

    Best Regards,

    Matt

  • It have problem that isn't installed DFU class driver in win XP.

    plz help me.

  • Hi Elsalvador,

I would first verify that the unknown device is uninstalled in device manager.  Re-install the software that can be obtained at the following website: ftp://ftp.ti.com/pub/data_acquisition/AMC6821EVM-PDK

Once the software is installed, make the connections that are specified in the above post.  When the installation is complete and board is plugged into the system it should display as:

I have seen this driver prompt on other EVMs.  I will get back to you when I find out more information regarding the DFU class driver prompt.

    Best Regards,

    Matt
