ADS1259

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1259

hi,

We are using the ads 1259 in a project ,I want to know what the conversion result will be in the following scenarios

We are using the internal 2.5V reference and AVdd is 2.5 v

Case 1 - When (VINP-VINN) =2.5v

Case 2  - When (VINP-VINN) = minus 2.5v

When AVDD = 5v

Case 3 - When (VINP-VINN) =2.5v

Case 4 - When (VINP-VINN) = minus 2.5v

Please help

Regards

  • Hi Abhay,

Welcome to the TI E2E forum!

Please refer to the "Data Format" section on page 29 of the ADS1259 datasheet. You'll see that a +Vref or -Vref input will result in the Full-scale code of 7FFFFFh or 800000h, respectively. This is true for both cases (independent of the supply voltage), so long as you do not violate the absolute input voltage range specified in the "Electrical Characteristics" table on pg 3.
