Now we have some inquiries regarding ADS7841EB from our customer. Please refer to the items below and feedback us with your comment.
1) Inquiry regarding MODE pin on ADS7841EB
When referring the block diagram on page 1 of ADS784 datasheet, MODE pin is described as output. However, actually this pin is used to select conversion mode internally.
Please let us clarify whether you have particular reason to describe this pin as output on this diagram.
Also, please let us clarify whether we could use this pin as OPEN to set conversion mode into 12-bit conversion (=LOW).
2) Inquiry regarding required settling time on ADS7841EB
When referring FIGURE 3 on datasheet page 10, analog input timing is described as tACQ. However, we are concerning about the required settling time of analog input data while internal sampling terms.
Please let us clarify whether you have particular requirement of settling time. If so, please let us know the actual requirement.
