is it recommended to measure strain gauge value, & by directly using ADS1248 internal current source & then use input filtering.

Current source pass current directly to strain gauge?

    Hi Embedded World,

    Usually strain gauges and load cells form some sort of bridge circuit and are characterized by voltage excitation whereby you get a full-load deflection of an output voltage for each volt of excitation and is expressed in mV/V.
