What comes with the ADS1x9xECG-FE kit?

Is it just the board, or does it also come with the ECG Cable? (Biometrics cable)

    Hi Todd, 

    The ADS1x9xECG-FE kit only comes with the board, you will require a USB to mini USB cable and also a set of 4-lead ECG cables with a DB9 connector. 

    The 4-Lead Biometric ECG cables in the User's Guide (1k impedance) can be ordered from the following sites:

    Pl tell me without ECG simulator or ECG  cable how  we can analysis in analysis tab. For this required the power supply analog & digital?  If yes how give it . can i give dc 3.3 volt form dc power supply. which source of Digital supply. Pl quickly reply.  Which time required power supply- when ECG connect with ECG simulator or when any data of ecg browse to here. Can i browse the ECG data for analysis. if yes tell me source of ecg data.

    Hi Rakesh, 

    The EVM generates the analog and digital supply rails for the ADC using the main power rails on the J4 header. Section 5.2 of the User's Guide explains the supply rails that are available and how to configure the jumpers correctly.

    Without an ECG simulator, you can still evaluate the ADS1298 performance with a function generator. The only problem I see is inputting signals as small as 1mV - 3mV. Still, I would use a function generator to input +/- 100mV signals between 0.5Hz and 150Hz and practice setting the right common-mode, gain, and ECG-specific feature settings for the device.

    The ECG tab will take the data collected from each channel and perform some basic arithmetic to calculate the standard ECG Leads (i.e. Lead III = Lead II - Lead I).  It will not tell you any "diagnostic" information.

    I want to make ECG machine using msp430 whose interface with ads1292 ic. which kit prefer by you. I have give ecg signal with simulator. I have 2 types of MSP430 kit-

    1. msp430g2553/452

    2. MSPEXP430FG4618

    which kit is prefer for this work.

    I have also LAUNCHXL-F28027 kit. Pl tell me immediately.

    Hi,
    I'm giving input from a function generator and find that there is lot of noise but am able to see change in the frequency. When input is given to both channels (pin 1 & 2 wrt 3), there seems to be interference among the channels, both have peaks in all the same frequencies. Are there any settings to be changed?
