Respiration vs impedance

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1292R, ADS1298R

Hi all ;

In my application I need to measure the impedance between two electrodes to calculate the joules delivered to the heart . Normally the impedance varies between 25 to 200 ohm .

Is this impedance is the same of respiration ?

In other words can I use respiration function of ads1292R to measure the impedance between two electrodes ?

I noticed that respiration impedance is a multiple of 500 ohms and higher , so its is not teh same .. I am really confused ; I would be thankful if somebody could explain the diffirence between them and I can use resipration function to measure the impedance between electrodes.

Thank you in advanced

Hector
