LM97600 interfacing with GTP transceiver

Hi,

Is it possible to interface LM97600 with GTP transceiver (SX series) instead of GTX of Vitex-5 FPGA?

What is the maximum no. of samples/ch that can be acquired in LM97600RB in 4-channel mode in a single shot?

Hi Supratim

The GTP transceivers may not be fast enough to capture the LM97600 output data. The data rate is 2x the applied CLK rate, so for a CLK of 2500 MHz each lane is outputting data at 5Gbit/sec. I believe GTX transceivers will be required to support this data rate.

The LM97600RB can capture up to 4Msamples for each channel when operated in Quad input mode.
