HI,
When I watch the Figure 1(attached file) at the datasheet of ADS8365, it is written that CS line is pulled down at CONVERSION TIME.
Is it necessary to pull down CS at CONVERSION TIME?
If it is necessary, why is it necessary?

Kuramochi

Hi Kuramochi-san,
On the ADS8364 and ADS8365, there is no requirement to have /CS low while the HOLDx signal(s) are being applied. You do need to take /CS low while reading the conversion results though.
Hi, Tom-san,
Thank you for reply.
I satisfied.
But, why is CS pulled down at this figure?

Hi Kuramochi-san,
Actually that is probably because of the way I implemented the software control of the ADS8568. I used one of our TMS320 series DSP's and used the /WR strobe through an address decoder to generate the HOLDx inputs. This also caused the /CS to go active.
