I am looking for DAC37J84 BSDL file. I cannot find it in the TI BSDL Models Collection unless the name is cryptic.

Could someone help me with this?

I found that this 8764.dac38j84_final.BSDL file does not have all the power pins and some signal pins. This gets me warnings like this, WARNING : Pin U30-C9 is in nodelist, but not in any model, I get that warning for all the pins that are not in the 8764.dac38j84_final.BSDL.

This post, following that to which it replies, is tagged for DAC37J82, DAC37J84, DAC38J82, DAC38J84, DAC39J82, DAC39J84, but there is only one file attached (ostensibly for dac38j84).

Is it intended that the same file pertain to all 6 device types in this series??

In particular, do these devices share the same

- pinout?

- boundary_register definition?

- idcode_register definition?

If ANY of these vary, then there MUST be distinct BSDL files.

Further, even if ALL are the SAME, two suggestions:

give the file a name that includes all of the part numbers OR that otherwise indicates the series
give the ENTITY a name indicates the series

I fully concur with Mark that best practice, to declare all pins on the device in the PORT statement and in the PIN_MAP_STRING, should be followed. Out of 144 terminals, only 42 are declared in the BSDL ...

Mark- most tools will allow you to suppress such warnings- if you need more information, I'm sure I can help.

It would be really great if the BSDL (single or multiple, as applicable) were posted under the Models heading on the Software & tools tab on the respective Product pages. Thanks!!
