Hi,

I am using ADS1247 for our product. when i configure it for 40sps reading is OK. But when configure with 1000sps spikes in reading is observed. 

Is there any special care to be taken to run the ADS1247 at high sps with gain 1 ?

    Pooja,

    There isn't any special care that needs to be taken for high data rates that you wouldn't need to take care of at other gains.

    Can you describe the amplitude and frequency of these spikes? It could be something inherent in your circuit such as power supply pickup or digital noise associated with other parts of your circuit.

    Were you able to solve your problem?


    It occurs to me that your problem could be occurring because of power line cycle frequencies coupling into your schematic. This may depend on what frequency you are running the clock at and if it lines up with the notches in the digital filter.
