I've got a DAC34SH84EVM Rev. D and a FMC-DAC-Adapter Rev. D which I'd like to connect.

On both sides of the socket on the DAC-Board there is a metal pin, that doesn't fit through the Adapter-Board's holes, so... what am I doing wrong?

Jens,

Our newer EVM's had locking Samtec connectors installed. To use these with the adapter boards that did not have these connectors, you must cut the posts as shown in the attached photo. If you would like for us to this for you, you can ship the board to us at no cost.

Dear Jim,

thank you for your answer. Is there any FMC-DAC-Adapter revision that has these locking Samtec connectors? If possible, I'd like to not cut down a newly buyed adapter board. If there is no other option, I would do the cutting by myself.

We do not have any adapters with the locking connectors.
