ADC12D1000CIUT/NOPB ADC on-command calibration sequence

Hi.

I am using ADC12D1000CIUT/NOPB ADC in my Design and The clock input to ADC is from LMX2581 clock synthesizer (Configuring for 1 GHz).

I want to know the sequence to be followed to run on-command calibration.
Like whether
1.clock synthesizer should be configured first then the on-command calibration or
2.clock synthesizer should be configured after the on-command calibration.

Also whether the input clock to ADC is required to run the on command calibration?

Hello Anil,

The ADC should be calibrated after all of system variables have reached steady state (ie supply, clock, temperature, etc).

Without a valid clock being applied to the ADC, the ADC clock receiver will trigger randomly on noise. Any calibration performed during this stage will not reflect the steady state conditions of your circuit and therefore give you poor results. You should ensure that the clock is fully configured before calibrating the ADC.
