error message after successful installation of AFE4490 GUI

Hello Sir

After successfull installation of the GUI I get the following error message after connecting the evaluation kit.

Error 8 occured at Open/Create/Replace file in NI_LVConfig.Lvlib.

Possible reasons are:

File permission error. you may not have correct permission for the file.

C:\Program filex(X86)\Texas Instruments\AFE44x0SPO2EVM GUI\Config.files\Interfaceconfiguration.ini

Please guide me what to do.

Hello Arnab,

What is the operating system of your PC?
Could you verify if the GUI was installed in administrator mode?

The InterfaceConfiguration.ini must be writable by the GUI.
Could you change the file permission of the InterfaceConfiguration.ini and launch the GUI again?

The issue got resolved..Thanks for your prompt response..I have an issue with data capture now...I tried to capture ADC data by puting my finger inside pulse oximeter and am getting the following error:

Reading stopped without returning the expected number of samples. Please check the device and the inputs.

Can you please guide me troubleshooting the problem??

Arnab,

Please upgrade the Evaluation Module firmware to the latest version.
Refer to section 6 of the users guide for the procedure.
