Remote Patient Monitoring System

Hello,

Actually, I am a student in YSU and I want to build a prototype of remote patient  monitoring system so I need wireless ECG sensor which can be embedded in textile or just wearable ECG sensor with Bluetooth. Also I need micro controller ( MSP430x22x2 or MSP430x22x4)  with Bluetooth and all the other requirements such as Amplifier, Filtering, etc.. the micro controller will receive the signals from the ECG sensors by Bluetooth then send them to smartphone . I need Lithium- Ion Battery either rechargeable or nonchargeable  to provide the micro controller  and sensors with required power. finally, I need wires to transfer the power from the battery to sensors and micro controller .

My first question is how to select the components which Consistent with each other. I mean I want to make sure when I select these components, there will be interface among them.

Second question, is there any relation ship between the kind of hardware and the kind of software since I want to connect these hardware with Android application.

  • Hello Ali,

Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages. Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics.

In particular, at TI.com you will find a tab labelled Applications & Designs. Start there, looking for related equipment that will show you examples of building a product with the best choices of TI devices. You may also want to look at TI Designs Reference Design library for your specific application.
