HI,

 

Could we test two sinusoidal signal on ADS1118 Evaluation module?

 

Could we test ADS1018 on ADS1118 Evaluation module?

 

Could we use ADS1118 Evaluation module to connect with out TI MCU by using SPI ?

    The ADS1118EVM is a bit limited in measurements it can do. It is more of a demo kit to show how the device can be used in thermocouple measurement.

    There are two different options for an alternate way of testing the functionality. First, the ADS1115EVM-PDK may be suitable to test the analog function of the parts. It has the same basic analog section with an I2C interface instead of SPI. Second, another option would be to use the ADS1118 booster pack and MSP430 launchpad. While this also is used with thermocouple measurement, the firmware is available and would be more flexible for experimentation.

    If you want to evaluate the ADS1018, the latter might be more useful because of access to the firmware.

    Thanks for your response. I think ADS1115EVM-PDK will be much suitable for our application.
    We want to use ADS1018 and ADS1118 to test sinusoidal signal with 60Hz (range < 5v).

    But... The ADS1115EVM-PDK seems to have only I2C transmission..
    Is it possible to use ADS1115EVM-PDK to test SPI transmission based ADS1018 and ADS1118 ??
    Or other fast and easy testing method ??

    The ADS1115EVM-PDK only works with the I2C communication, so you wouldn't be able to be able to test any SPI communication. I would look over the material for the booster pack:
