Cascading ADS1158EVM-PDK

I would like to sample more than 16 channels of A/D voltages.  I bought a ADS1158EVM-PDK. My question is can I cascade several of these to get 64 or 256 channels? I am actually intereted in 256 A/D voltage channels (8-bit resolution would be fine), but I have not been able to find such a product. Can I cascade multiple ADS1158EVM-PDK to achieve this?  Or is there another evaluation kit that has 256 or 64 channels?

    Hi Alex,

    Welcome to the TI E2E Forums!

    The ADS1158EVM-PDK is designed to allow you to evaluate a single ADS1158. The hardware and software does not support stacking or cascading EVMs to achieve higher channel count.

    I'm not aware of any other evaluation kits that will achieve what you're after. You could certain build such a high channel count data acquisition out of ADS1158's or ADS7961's, but it sounds like you're after more of a finished product.
