Hi All,

I have an AFE4490Spo2EVM kit and I want to use AFE4490SPO2EVM GUI V2.0 software program for SPO2 application. My pc software is Windows 7 professional. I installed the software AFE4490SPO2EVM GUI V2.0 and usb driver.

I upgrade the firmware updater manual from the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\Firmware Updater" directory.

But when i running the AFE4490SPO2EVM GUI, there is an error occurs says " AFE4490SPO2EVM GUI stopped running".

I'm very glad for your help.

Hello Egemen,

Did you update the firmware manually?
Could you either outline the procedure or refer to the document you followed to update the firmware manually?
Could you also confirm if the update completed before you closed the BSL_USB_GUI.exe?

Sometimes there is an error code associated with the error message.
Please attach an image of the error message. It would be helpful to debug the error.

My friend tried this application and it ran on his computer. But on my computer it was not running and error massage is,

i couldn't understand what the difference is,

Hi all,

I have also same problem. I tried on two computer (one of them is windows 8.1 the other one is windows 7). I installed AFE44x0SPO2EVM GUI v2.0 and USB driver according to the information in the technical documentation (SLAU480C). But i get 'AFE44x0SPO2EVM GUI stopped running' error in both.
