connect two sets of TSW1400+TSW30SH84 to one PC

Hi there,

I am connecting two sets TSW1400+TSW30SH84 to one PC in order to generate 4 RF channels that are time aligned. Here is my problem.

I connect to the first set of TSW1400+TSW30SH84, download firmware and waveform and setup is ok and I can see the transmission signal. Then from the GUI I disconnect to the first TSW1400 and connect to the second TSW1400. download firm is fine and I can see all LEDs are up. then I load waveform when click send button both TSW1400s LEDs are all off. The transmission signal is gone as well from the spectrum analyzer. What is problem here?

Hi,

Do both TSW1400 have the same serial number? If so this can cause a problem in the USB enumeration. Also ensure that you are not also communicating to both of the TSW38SH84 at the same time.

No, the serial numbers are different, as it is shown on each board. both USBs to TSW30SH84 are physically disconnected.

it looks to me the clicking of the send button has something to do with it.

Do both setups run fine by themselves? Does this only happen if you try to have both systems connected to the same PC and save HSDC Pro?

the two sets are running ok if connect them physically one at a time. it happens when I connect both system to two USB ports of the PC and then using the connect/disconnect function from the GUI to talk to them.

another strange thing may has something to do with it is as following: I connect to TSW1400 and 30SH84 and set it up it start to transmit a waveform. If I unplug the USB cable from the PC the transmitted signal disappear.

Please disconnect HSDC Pro before unplugging the USB from the TSW1400.
