Having a hard time finding this .exe file: AFE4300 Device GUI
Where can I download it from? Thanks
Malik,
In the ReadMe.txt file included in the zip file it explains what to do. You need to run the setup.bat file. If running on windows7 right click and run as administrator. Sorry for the confusion.
Dear Amy,
I downloaded the slac681.zip file. Unfortunately, there is no ReadMe.txt in the zip file.
I was able to install the application through the AFE4300EVMPDKFWSRC-1.0-windows-installer.exe file but I am unable to launch it afterwards. Is it compatible with W10?
Any advice that could help me move forward?
Thx for your help!
Thibaut
Thibaut,
The AFE4300EVMPDKFWSRC-1.0-windows-installer.exe is the source code for the EVM board. It is not the GUI. The GUI can be downloaded here. www.ti.com/.../afe4300evm-pdk and click AFE4300EVM-PDK Software v1.16 (Rev. D)
However, the AFE4300EVM GUI is only supported on Windows XP or 7. By disabling Driver Signature Enforcement, the EVM GUI works on Windows 8 as well. Since Windows 10 is new, currently we do not provide any support to make the GUI work with Windows 10.
Thank you Amy.
How could I miss that it was the firmware!? It works much better now :)
