ADS1299 component/schematic files for Altium designer

Hello,

I am trying to design a circuit using ADS1299 on Altium Designer 14 but I cannot obtain the updated T.I. libraries from the Vault and therefore I cannot find this component on any library's database in order to place it on the schematics. Could the necessary file/s for this be provided here?

Hey Pablo,

Unfortunately I'm not aware of an Altium schematic block for the ADS1299. I believe that we used Protel for any PCBs we made for that device. I could potentially dig up that file and give it to you so you could import it to Altium, but it might be easier for you to create your own schematic block in Altium and match the pinout to what is on the datasheet. Then when creating the PCB footprint in Altium, just refer to the mechanical section of the datsheet. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Hi Pablo - the Land Pattern Data page needed for the PCB footprint was not appended to the ADS1299 datasheet. For now, you can refer to the ADS1672, which also uses the same 64-pin TQFP package (S-PQFP-G64) as the ADS1299.
