The inputs obtained from analog load cell is given to ADS1232 ref evaluation board ,we wish to interface it with CC3100 board ,how do we go forth with it.
Can you please tell me the hourly power consumption of ADS1232ref evaluation board.

I moved this thread because it does not appear to be about the MSP430, so I put it in the precision data converters forum http://e2e.ti.com/support/data_converters/precision_data_converters/f/73 - hopefully they will be able to help with your questions about the ads1232ref evm.
For questions about the CC3100, you may need to also post in one of the wireless connectivity forums: http://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/f/968#pi239797012=1

Hi Akshaya,
As I explained in a previous post, the interfacing of the ADS1232REF to a wireless communications system is outside of the scope and intent of the design. If you want to accomplish this you need to do a new design. Although it may be possible to connect the UART output of the MSP430F449 on the ADS1232REF to another system, the firmware will not allow the weigh scale mode to function in this way. In other words, the weigh scale portion of the firmware will only display on the LCD.
The power consumption of the ADS1232REF will depend on the mode of operation as well as to what is connected at the inputs. As it is difficult to know the precise method of operation, the power consumption of the board has not been characterized.
If you can tell me more about what you are trying to accomplish I maybe able to give more detail as to an alternative. You can click on my picture and start a conversation with me privately if you wish.
Best regards,
Bob B
