Hi,
i would like to request firmware for ADS1118EVM.

Name (of requester)*: Uday Chandrasekhar
Requested software source*: for ADS1118EVM
Application: Access ADS1118EVM firmware to customize for our application to access from c code instead of labview GUI.

Really appreciate if you can grant access to the firmware.

I have checked the page. There are two items listed. see below

ADS1118EVM Software --->> This is the installer
(ZIP, 90062 KB) 111 views, 10 Jun 2011
ADS1118EVM Source Code ---> This is the lab view source.
(ZIP, 2408 KB) 130 views, 10 Jun 2011

I am looking to access the module from python and not go through labview.

I don't think we have anything written in python. There is something written in c though.

The ADS1118 has a booster pack for the MSP430G2553 and there's information and code here:
www.ti.com/.../430boost-ads1118

I don't need anything in python. The ADS1118EVM is based on TUSB3210 (Not MSP430G2553) and ADS1118 and if i am not mistaken can be accessed through the tio32.dll file which is present in the labview source directory . Looking at the dll, I have the list of functions, but do not know what needs to be passed into each of the functions . I need the header file "tio32.h".

it would be nice to have the full firmware for TUSB3210 written for ADS1118EVM, so that I can tweek it incase I cannot go through python.

Hi Uday,

I'm sorry, I thought the firmware was in the zip file. See the related post:

The controller is the SM-USB-DIG, which is an 8052 based micro TUSB3210. The firmware is setup to receive commands via an HID device driver. Anything beyond the firmware itself is outside the scope of our support.
