change TSW30SH84 setting to 614.4MSPS

Hi there,

The default setting with TSW30SH84 is 2x 737.28MSPS. I'd like to change to 2x 614.4MSPS. Where should I change in the control panel?

Thanks,

Ruikang

  • Hi RuiKang,

If you are using an external clock, you have to change the frequency of the clock source to 614.4MSPS. Afterwards, in HSDCPRO software, change the data rate to 307.2MSPS to match the new output rate.

    Thanks,

    Eben.

  • Hi Eden,

No, I do not use external clock. From the diagram CLK4 from LMK0480 provide DAC clock, do I just need to change the data clock from 1474.56M (2x737.28) to 1228.8M (2x614.4M)? question is how do I change in LMK0480 control panel?

    Thanks,

    Ruikang

  • Hi RuiKang,

You will have to change this from the LMK04800 tab, click on the Advanced settings button and change the PLL2 settings as follows: Ref Divider = 125, N Divider= 3840, Prescalar = 8, 2x REF = Frequency Normal. The attached settings file should already have this configured.

    Thanks,

    Eben.

  • Eben,

In my previous email I said the setup file is working. But I just found the LMK LOCK LED is off. The setup seems ok as the signal bandwidth is where it suppose to be. It just the LMKLOCK LED is off make me wonder something is wrong.

    Thanks,

    Ruikang

  • Hi Ruikang,

I am looking into this and will update you later.

    Thanks,

    Eben.
