TSW3100 Software

I am trying to use the TSW3100 EVM board, but the complementary software doesn't seem to be working properly.


The software was downloaded under "Software" from the following webpage: www.ti.com/.../tsw3100evm;tisearch=Search-EN-Everything

The software does not have any checkboxes where the manual shows them:

I am running Windows 8. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    John,

    The TSW3100 GUI software was not intended to be used with Win8 - it was developed during win XP and development was stopped when we moved to the TSW1400 and HSDC Pro about 4 years ago.  As such the TSW3100 GUI is only known to work in Win XP.

    The images and screen shots did not make it in the post.

    Thanks for the reply Ken. Do you know about the software for TSW30H84 as well? Is that software only known to work in XP as well?

    Hi John,

     

    TSW30H84 can run on windows XP and windows 7. On Windows 7, you will need to run the software as an administrator. There are known issues with the configuration files not loading properly on windows 7 and running in administrative mode always resolves this.
