I want to change the pin assignments in the MSP430f5529 to siute te MSP430f5529 Launch pad board so that the custom board that I have assemle works wih the launch pad.- would this only do the job or something needs to be done on the GFUI source code as well.

Is this what is typically done by the board.
If yes
where is the firmware klocated? or does the CCS compiles the firmwhere from a perticulaer address - what is that address
could you help me on this so that i can odify the pin assignments and make a "booster pack for my own use" this of course would mean that the pin assignments would need to be changed totally PLEASE HELP URGENTLY
