GUI Control Software for DAC161S997EVM does not work

I am not able to connect to my DAC161S997EVM board.

I get the following message when I start the application:

"No attached APL based USB boards were detected".

I downloaded the application using the following button.

It installs a program that is called "Analog LaunchPAD". This is not the same as the application described in the DAC161S997EVM manual. To me, it seems that the download button is linked to wrong software. Is this correct?

I am having this same issue. Is there a solution to this problem yet? I am trying to get the EVM up and running for an HVAC customer. The version of software shown in the user guide doesn't match the software package that I downloaded from the link on the EVM page. The board does show up in the device manager once I updated drivers, but the problem still occurs with the same error message above.

I have the same question. I think the the file on the web is wrong .
Please TI gives a solution quickly .

I have found that you are correct, the GUI link for the DAC161S997 is pointing to the wrong software. I am tracking down the correct software. I will provide an update as soon as it is posted to the web.
