ADS1278 EVM with DSK6713, problems with McBSP DIN

Hi -

I'm using the DSK6713 with the 5-6k interface board and the ADS1278 EVM.  I intend in the future to upgrade to the OMAP L138, but started here because of the ADS1278-C6713-CCS3v1 example project file interfacing the two.


I'm not getting data from the ADS1278.

Interrogating the ADS1278 EVK, and comparing it to its working operation on top of the MMB0 with ADCPro, the only difference I've found is that the DIN pin is permanently high when on the DSK6713, but low when on the MMB0. 

Is this likely to be preventing the ADS1278 from transmitting data?  How do I fix this?

    Hi David,

    Thanks for your questions.

    I'm not familiar with the DSK6713, but DIN should be tied low on the ADS1278 when you are not daisy-chaining multiple devices together. Please force DIN low and let me know if that resolves the issue.
