AFE4300EVM BCM demonstration using onboard impedance simulate block

Hi,

Recently I bought AFE4300EVM-PDK board and trying to simulate BCM using onboard simulate block as per section 6.3.1 of Development Guide.

As per section 6.3.1,

(1) Connect wires across the impedance simulate terminal and either the IOUT[5:0] or VSENSE[5:0] terminals.

I tried to connect wires as shown in below diagram, but it did not work. I followed all the other steps as per the document. Are these connections ok? Or can you share some diagram.

Do you have any recommendation for electrodes/probes to use for wearable application for hand to hand BCM analysis.

Hi Amy,

Is there any update on this? I thought this is very basic sanity check of the board and should work seamlessly unless I am making any mistake. Is this board still in Beta version?

Hi Amy,

Yes, shunts are placed across J11, J12, J22, J23, J24, and J25 as shown in my first uploaded pic.

Could you pls. point me doc on how I can validate fixed resistance connected outside the board? If I revert all shunts to its original state, can I connect external resister to IOUT and VSENS. I can try that as well.
