SI,
To check for the patch download correctly, you can read the RAM Version (register 05h) and RAM Test Version (register 06h). For example, if the patch is 02.01.17, you should get 01 for register 05h and 17h for 06h.
We will try the sync loss in lab.

SI,
I just tried to reproduce the lost sync problem in lab but could not. I got a bright light pointing to the LG camera and use my hand to cover and uncover the camera. I donot see any vertical lock during the transition. I was using the TVP5158 EVM in D1 bypass mode. Do you see this problem with our EVM there?

Hello Viet,
We do have ITX DVR box in our lab. Could you please check this issue on it? Thanks.
Best regards,

SI,
We tried the ITX and UDWork DVR boxes with PAL and NTSC but don't see any sync lost problem. Can you tell me is it visible or you see in from system interrupt?

Viet,
Thanks for your test and feedback. I think no more action is needed.
I confirmed ITX did not update our latest patch yet, and this sync lost problem is related with this patch - sync lost at low level input.
ITX found the input level would be lower when a bright light is shined in IR camera and they did not update our latest patch yet.
So, I & ITX are expecting this issue will be solved if ITX update our latest patch.
Could you please give me the update procedure of this latest patch to solve line-lock camera issue ?
Because ITX's engineers are very busy to prepare production, it is prefer for us to provide simple update method.
If there are more issues even after updating this patch, I'll let you know.
BTW, just for reference, this sync loss would be occurred with IR camera only, not normal camera. The testing method using normal camera which I gave you was wrong information. sorry for this... ^^
Thanks and Best Regards,
SI.
