hi,

I found in ads1292r's datasheet, it has a discription like this:

but in ads1292r's user guide, the SCH is like this:

C22 and C58 connect to a digital ground . so which ground should i use here (DGND or AVSS) ?

Hi Jun,

Good catch! All of the analog bypass capacitors should be connected to AVSS. On the EVM, AVSS is shorted to DGND through R46 because the ADS1292 is operating on a single-supply; however, it is more appropriate to show these caps tied to AVSS or analog ground instead.

Keep in mind that AVSS may not always be equal to ground, such as when you are using bipolar supplies.

thanks very much, if i connect ads1292r's exposed thermal pad to the ground(AVSS or DGND), which is better? may you give me some suggestions?

Hi Jun - you should tie the ADS1292R thermal pad to AVSS.
