We have designed a board with a MSP430FR5969 interfaced to ADS1293 AFE based on the EVM. Before the custom board was fabricated, the software folks used a launchpad board with SPI wired into a ADS1293EVM. Energia was used to write the firmware. After the custom board was fabricated and assembled, the same code would not work on our custom board. The AFE did not respond on the SPI bus(writes to registers). To cross check, we wired the SPI from the controller on our board to the AFE EVM and the controller received valid data. But, when we wired the launchpad board SPI to our custom board AFE, the AFE did not respond as well. We verified all voltages and signals comming from SPI in both our custom board and the launchpad/EVM combo and everything is simillar. We even measured every resistor on the EVM and the same values exists on our custom board as well.
Please help us debug the issue and get the AFE up. Thanks in advance.
