ADS1299EEG-FE Sampling/Timing

Hello,

I'm sampling at 16000SPS, 64000 Samples/Channel. I calculated it should take 32 seconds to sample over 8 channels. (64,000 samples*8 channels)/(16000SPS) = 32 seconds. When I time it, it only takes 20 seconds including what looks like a set-up time on the GUI.

How can it be going faster than the minimum time required to sample all the channels?

    Hey Meagan,

    This device samples all channels simultaneously therefore there is no need to multiply the expression by 8. The time it will take to sample that many times is just 4 seconds not including any procession or memory allocation that is performed by both the EVM firmware and the GUI.
