Looking for ADD3501 from Application Note AN-202

Hi Precision Data Converter Apps Team,

I am looking into the following App Note to implement a digital multimeter --> AN-202 A Digital Multimeter Using the ADD3501. I have been looking for ADD3501 Datasheet on TI's website but I couldn't find any. Do we still sell and support the aforementioned part? If not, do we have a part equivalent to ADD3501?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

Rifat Sheikh

  • Rifat,

I've been looking through our website and I can't find any references to the ADD3501 anywhere except for this application note. There's also mention of an ADD3701, but I can't find that one either. I'm guessing that this device was obsoleted a long time ago and there isn't a replacement, but I'll see what I can find.

Normally this wouldn't be in the precision data converter forum, but I'm not sure where it goes. It's currently listed in the PowerLab Reference Design Library, but I'm not sure why it would be there.

  • Hi Joseph,
Thank you for your prompt response. It's interesting that the App Note has been edited in February 2015 with ADD3501 on it even though we don't sell/support it. Please keep me posted if you find anything interesting regarding the App Note and if the product group has a replacement part lined up for ADD3501.
