AFE 5809 EVM

Hi,

I am working on AFE 5809 and TSW1400 EVM, last few months i didnt face any problem but suddenly the current is dropping from 0.64Amps  to 0.40Amps.

I have checked all the jumper settings and corresponding LED blinking also but i couldn't solve this, and LED3 is not glowing, in the datasheet it indicates that if LED3 is not glowing means ADC clock (CLKP_ADC)is not working, but i have checked even ADC clock (CLKP_ADC) signal its working fine.

so i am not able to find the problem can you please help regarding this.

Thanks & regards

  • Suresh,

I have assigned your post to the appropriate apps engineer. He should respond to you soon.

  • Suresh,

If USER_LED3 (D5) on the TSW1400 EVM is lit, this means the FPGA sees a FCLK from the AFE, which means that the AFE is receiving the input ADC clock.  This is required for HSDCPro data capture.  If the LED is not lit, the problem could be the ADC clock input. Please check JP9 on the AFE EVM with an oscilloscope probe. If JP10 is installed, then JP9 should have a clock in the OSC configuration.

    Thanks,

    Chuck Smyth
