Dear all,
If I power up DAC8568D with:
1. Ldac floating
2. 4.5V on AVdd
3. Gnd connected
4. Clr pulled up
5. other pins floating
should or should not all ouputs go to midscale?
By the way, please do reccomend a minimal testing connection!
Thanks!

Hi Pop,

The internal reference for the DAC is disabled by default, so if the VREF pin is floating, you will not get a midscale output.
If you do have a voltage applied at VREF with LDAC floating, it is really hard to tell what the output should be.

What do you mean by minimal testing connection?
If you use the setup below, your device should power on to a midscale of 2.5 V.
