ADS1298 open source design help request & this will assist open source and development & interest in the chip

any sugjestions or problems with the design you noticed?

Any of the ground or power at the wrong value etc?

Have you populated and tested your design?  Can you share some results?  Maybe some pics from you bench testing?

The design files are in the free and open source kicad software.

The folder is ads1298

I found a signal unmixing software that would take the parrellel mesurements and retreve the unmixed components.

It compiles in GCC C on a micro or pc.

But a micro would proably be too slow to work in real time.

I should proably put a external clock for 10k samples per second.

Then somehow with a xilinx fpga open source design from gadgetfactory.net

then the info might be able to get to the pc after I somehow patch the spi ads1298 & fpga together any arduino examples?

The ft2232h IS much better than that USB chip is FT2232H it has High Speed USB if I shift the data from a ads1298 into the fpga when DRDY says data is ready 1 spi port on the fpga per ads1298 board. Then 8 bits at a time are shifted into the FT2232H USB chip.

So since the open source community uses arduino's a lot there a avrmega8 or compatible 328 or something what code on one of thowse would be needed to load a ads1298 registers for basic operation no gain high acuracy, continuous conversion 10k samples per second.

A arduino is a open source soft core mega 8 in my FPGA so the code can be tested in both places.

Any example c code making one of these work?

I am going to program the fpga using schematic entry I do not have much to any real verilog experiance.
