           Could I know our ADS1191 or ADS1192 support below standard? Thank you. 

  • Supports AAMI EC11, EC13, IEC60601-1, IEC60601-2-27, 
    and IEC60601-2-51 Standards

    Hey Patrick,

    TI has a strict policy preventing me from telling you that any particular electronic device is safe for diagnostic use. In addition, those standards are system-level standards which means that the entire board would have to meet the standard; not just one device. What I can say is that TI spent a lot of time researching medical electronics and some of these standards in an attempt to market them to medical customers. It is likely that the devices may be used in a system that may ultimately be qualified under all of the above medical standards, but I cannot stress enough that this does not represent an affirmative statement guaranteeing that. The customer will have to "do their homework", so to speak, about whether or not The ADS1191/2 can meet specification.
