C5416 MCBSP INTERFACE with TLV5630

I have interfaced a TLV5630 with a MCbsp port of C5416 DSP.

The Mcbsp port in configured in continuous clock mode and the device works fine except some dip in voltage whenever 16 clock cycle ends and no data is written.Clock is fed at 15 MHz and data is written at 30 K.

Can I use clock stop mode (SPI) of MCbsp,so that i only write clock when required?

Can somebody help with inilialization of McBSP and DAC TLV5630 for clock stop mode?

    Hi Jyoti,

    The best way to help you debug this issue is by sharing the oscilloscope capture of the digital interface. This way we can verify if the interface is operating correctly.

    As for your questions on the TMS320C5416 I will have to refer you to the micro controller forum, but before we do that, lets verify that the TLV5630 is getting the interface that it expects.
