I recently purchased the Texas Instruments Development Kit ADS1298ECGFE-PDK and have been having problems loading the TI demo software “ADS1298ECG-FE-PDK version 1.1.1”.
The software install gets hung-up during the second portion of the installation “USBStyx Driver Installation Setup Wizard”. During this portion of the install, I get the error message:
“There was a problem starting libusb0.dll. The specified module could not be found.”
If I continue past this point, the installation completes. When I run the program the software never fills in the Device ID or Firmware Version into the text boxes on the main window.
After a few seconds I get the message:
“The firmware load has failed due to a timeout condition. Please reset the hardware to continue loading the firmware.”
Also, in the upper right corner of the software run window, I see the message:
“DSP-Not Ready Retrying”
“Download failed. Reset the hardware”
If I press the reset button the firmware load times out again.
I would appreciate any help regarding the installation of the TI evaluation software.
