Hello again,
Hopefully this will be my last question. I was trying to collect data with the ADS5292EVM hooked to a TSW1400 but I am not getting the correct waveform as I connected it to a function generator so I know what to expect. I noticed that on the manual (pages 7-8) says that in order for the board to be properly powered on the LED_+5V, LED18VD, LED18VA have to be green and LED33VA has to be orange. However, on my board only two light up: LED_+5V green and LED33VA red.
Maybe this is causing the incorrect waveform output? How can I fix it?
Thanks for the help
HI,
Let me verify on my setup what LEDs are lit. I will get back to you very soon.
Thanks
Christian
I confirm that I see the same LEDs light up as you do (only 2). What is the error you are seeing? Are able to follow the user's guide to capture a RAMP test pattern and sine wave input?
Thanks
Christian
Thanks. The ramp test pattern did not work before but I just tried it again and it did so I'm back testing with the function generator and the waveform changed. However, when I parse the data from ADC codes to voltage (which is my point of reference) I get an amplitude of ~6 no matter how much voltage peak-to-peak I feed it with. I'm thinking It could also be an error parsing the data but I'm using the code another TI employee provided on this post e2e.ti.com/.../1595908
